What is RNGdle?
Updated 2026-10-01
RNGdle is a daily random number game. Each day you get one roll to generate a random number from 0 to 1,000,000. That number is checked for patterns, which earn badges and EP (entropy points).
The four steps
- Roll. Press the button to generate the day’s number.
- Discover. See which badges that number earns from its properties.
- Collect. Badge progress builds over later days.
- Share. Show the roll to other people.
Badges and the two rarity scales
Badges recognize patterns like palindromes, prime numbers, repeating digits, meme numbers, mathematical sequences, and more. There are two scales. Number rarity ranks your total EP against every possible roll: Trash (bottom 1%), Common (bottom 50%), Uncommon (top 50–25%), Rare (top 25–10%), Epic (top 10–5%), Anomaly (top 5–1%), Mythic (top 1%). Badge rarity is the chance of rolling that badge: Common above 10%, Uncommon 1–10%, Rare 0.1–1%, Epic 0.01–0.1%, Anomaly 0.001–0.01%, Mythic under 0.001% (1 in 100,000+).
Launch and what changed later
The changelog marks 5 December 2025 as the public launch. On 17 August 2026 the site added favorite badges and profile emojis, and it mentioned a poetry composer with UX inspired by fridgle.net. On 21 August 2026 it added Quarter-Century, Three-Quarter Century, Epoch, Semi-Eon, and Eon, and it removed Tree Fiddy and Exact Tree Fiddy. On 21 September 2026 it added a Settings page for theme, display-name color, favorite badges, sign-out, and account deletion.
A full index of the 233 badges lives at the badge list. The EP page stays with what is published, and the sandbox lets you test a number without spending the daily roll.
Sign-in on the home page is an email magic link. The privacy page says the address is used for that link, stored as an HMAC-SHA256 hash, and that the link expires in five minutes. A password is not part of that flow.
What I checked myself
I copied the definition above from the about page rather than from a summary site, because search blurbs were mixing in calculator and infinite-roll modes that the about page never mentions. Then I opened the home page: the line on screen was “One roll per day. One number. What will yours be?” next to a Generate button, and a note to sign up before rolling if you want the roll saved.

Questions people ask
Is RNGdle the same as Wordle?
No. Wordle is a word you can reason about. RNGdle is one random integer and the patterns inside it. A comparison is on the Wordle page.
How many badges are there?
233 badge URLs on rngdle.com returned a name, emoji, rarity, EP, probability, and condition on 1 October 2026.
Do I have to make an account?
You can roll without one. The home page says to sign up before rolling if you want the roll saved and a place on the leaderboard.
